Monarch Mechanical was established in May 1997 by Bart and Cheryl Murray. Bart, a third-generation sheet metal worker, was deeply passionate about his trade and preferred to work in the field with his hands. He was a podium pioneer in the Bay Area and collaborated with some of the largest institutional developers throughout his career.
During Bart's time as the company's leader, he trained and mentored hundreds of sheet metal workers and construction leaders in the Bay Area. His dedication to the trade inspired his employees to share his vision for craftsmanship and excellence in the mechanical industry.
In 2020, Bart and Cheryl passed the torch to his key employees: Vince Ramos, Mark McKenna, and David Vargas.
The company's reputation for skilled tradesmen and efficient projects has attracted a loyal following of general contractors who rely on Monarch for HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal.
Even through Monarch’s growth and the continued evolution of building delivery, the company continues to carry its original vision of craftsmanship and old school grit.
